1. Acceptance

By accessing Yard Registry or using the API you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Permitted use

You may use Yard Registry and its API to:

Search and explore Jamaican business data for commercial intelligence purposes
Integrate business data into your own products via the API (subject to tier limits)
Generate leads for legitimate B2B outreach

3. Prohibited use

You must not:

Bulk-download the full registry for resale or redistribution
Use the data for spam, unsolicited mass contact, or harassment
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent rate limits
Use the API beyond your tier's stated request quota
Represent Yard Registry data as your own original data product

4. API keys

API keys are issued per organisation. You are responsible for keeping your key secure. Keys may be revoked if we detect abuse or terms violations. Free tier keys have a daily request limit; paid tiers have higher limits as stated on the API Access page.

5. Data accuracy

Business data is aggregated from public sources and may contain errors, outdated information, or duplicates. We make no warranty that the data is accurate, complete, or current. Use it as a starting point for research, not as a definitive source of record.

6. Liability limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by Jamaican law, Yard Registry is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or its data.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.

8. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
